Since the emergence of COVID-19, and with the introduction of COVID vaccines in 2020, there has been a rise in heart attacks, cardiac arrests, and an increase in all-cause mortality (deaths from all causes). In other words, over the past few years, there has been a troubling increase in excess deaths – an anomaly where more people are dying than what we would typically expect. Obviously, this is a grave cause for concern.

COVID Spike Proteins

One common feature of the COVID (SARS-CoV-2) virus and COVID vaccines is that they both contain (or elicit production of) what are referred to as ‘spike proteins’. COVID spike proteins can cause harm through several mechanisms, with one significant risk being vascular damage. It is now well known that COVID vaccines can cause myocarditis/pericarditis (heart inflammation) which can lead to cardiac arrest, and blood clots which can lead to heart attacks and stroke. This much is no longer controversial.

“We found abundant evidence that SARS-CoV-2 spike protein may cause damage in the cardiovascular, hematological, neurological, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and immunological systems. Viral and vaccine-encoded spike proteins have been shown to play a direct role in cardiovascular and thrombotic injuries from both SARS-CoV-2 and vaccination.”

Spike Protein Detox Protocol

Given that large numbers of people may be experiencing ‘long COVID’ symptoms and/or COVID vaccine injury, there is a strong interest in spike protein detox protocols. One such protocol has been put forth by Dr. Peter McCullough in a paper titled Clinical Rationale for SARS-CoV-2 Base Spike Protein Detoxification in Post COVID-19 and Vaccine Injury Syndromes. Dr. McCullough proposes the following three supplements to detox from COVID spike protein:

    • Nattokinase – 2,000 FU twice a day.
    • Bromelain – 500 mg once a day.
    • Curcumin – 500 mg twice a day.

Additionally, N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) can be added to the above protocol to assist in spike protein detoxification and degradation. NAC has a well-established safety profile and is commonly taken at a dose of 600 mg twice a day.

“NAC has been shown to disrupt disulfide bonds of the spike protein, rendering it unable to bind to the ACE2 receptor. Moreover, the combination of NAC with bromelain has been shown to synergistically disrupt spike protein by breaking glycosidic linkages and disulfide bonds.”

The above supplements are available without a prescription, but patients taking anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs are strongly cautioned to seek medical supervision due to an increased risk of bleeding. Work with your trusted healthcare provider to ensure you are not at risk for adverse drug/supplement interactions, or other side effects.

The Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) has published protocols for treating Long Covid and Post-Vaccine Syndrome (Covid vaccine injury). FLCCC recommends intermittent fasting to allow the body to naturally detoxify spike protein through a process called autophagy. The FLCCC also recommends hyperbaric oxygen as a potential therapy (I own this hyperbaric oxygen chamber brand, and it’s been very beneficial to my overall health).

The World Council for Health has a spike protein detox guide, which recommends the following nutrients: vitamin C, vitamin D, magnesium, and zinc. They also suggest heat therapy as being helpful in detoxing from spike protein (I use this Far-Infrared sauna and have found it to be a convenient way for me to sweat out toxins).

As a final consideration, probiotics help regulate the immune system and have been found to positively impact the course of COVID-19. In one study, Megasporebiotic (a spore-based probiotic) was found to contribute to a better clinical outcome for mild COVID-19, including fewer digestive symptoms, faster symptom resolution, and faster resolution of fever. This probiotic, along with the spike protein detox supplements mentioned above, are all available (at discount prices) through our Gut Resolution Supplement Dispensary.
